One of my favorite reads is Iva Roze Skoch's column "Wanderlust" at GlobalPost...this past week she conducted a Q & A with Helen Croyden, the author of Sugar Daddies: When a Fantasy Became an Obsession. Not only did they cover the path that brought Helen down the road of wealthy older men who presented her with "allowances" but also some of the differences between American sugar daddies and their foreign counterparts. Apparently, American men feel far more comfortable exchanging "allowances" for a relationship. And if you are further interested in the topic, Baje Fletcher's book Gold Diggers Guide and Simone Dadoun-Cohen's Establishmen.com might be a good place to start...
