I'm a big fan of Ricardson Magazine, one of the best to tackle the subject of the sex in its entirety. From the graphic to the academic, it is a beautiful testament to the multidimensional approach that can be taken to the topic. So happy to see coverage of my latest exhibition in it's feed. While Obscene Diary is primarily the story of one individual, Samuel Steward, in bringing this exhibition to the Museum of Sex I have often thought of it as a tool in asking our patrons to reflect on what it would look like if their own sexual histories were documented and what this would say about the times in which we live. Rarely do we have an opportunity to see a sexual life so completely documented, providing an unprecedented peek into the private lives of men from an earlier era.
