When the films "A Night at the Museum" were released it was difficult not to think of the incredible story that could be crafted from the "Night at the Museum of Sex". In the past few years several artists have made their presence in gallery or museum spaces part of their artistic installation. In the Guggenheim's 2008 show "theanyspacewhatever" artist Carsten Höller created a piece called Revolving Hotel Room, which was a mock up of a hotel suite on four rotating platforms, Patrons were able to make a reservation for the room and remain overnight in the Museum. Recently, Kate McGroarty was chosen from over 1,500 applicants to spend 30 days in the Chicago Museum of Science. If McGroarty is able to last the 30 days within the museum she will be awarded $10,000.During her stay she will interact with museum patrons,but she will have her own private sleeping quarters. And to bring it back to sex, artist Ellen Harvey has created a Nudist Museum for the Bass Museum of Art in Miami. The installation features reproductions of every art piece depicting a nude form found in the institutions collection.
